Judith (Judy) Ann Van Aman (nee Clark) was born November 28, 1956 and passed on February 29, 2024. Dear daughter of Betty (the late Bill) Fritz and the late Don Clark.
Judy was a proud twelve year U.S. Air Force Veteran and served as a Peer Support Specialist helping veterans in need. Judy blessed this world with her kindness and generosity, she would give someone the last $5 she had if she thought they needed it more than her…and she often felt that way. She was fiercely independent and extraordinarily loving. She loved her children and grandkids beyond measure and told them often how amazing she thought they were. She was grateful for the relationship she built with her mother and cherished their time together.
She was incredibly smart, funny (ask her, she thought she was hilarious!), sarcastic, and always happy to talk with a stranger. She enjoyed gardening, feeding the birds, sitting outside reading (she was ALWAYS reading), history (specifically the World Wars and Winston Churchill were her favorite subjects), musicals and singing, trying new recipes, playing with her cats and most of all, spending time with her family. She was staunchly anti-fascist and anti-patriarchy too! She was a gift and will be missed deeply.
Judy is survived by her children; son Michael (Jennifer) Van Aman and daughter Sarah (Carey) Edwards; sister of Donna (Bill) Willingham, Donna (John) Fisher, David (Beth) Fritz, Todd (Christine) Fritz; grandmother of Lillian Van Aman, Alexis Barilla, Emerson Edwards, and Parker Edwards; aunt, great aunt, niece, cousin, and friend of many.
Judy was also preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne Clark-Gilbert and brother, Michael Fritz.
