John Leslie Davis

At the age of 60 died on February 8, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Vanessa Davis (Johnson); his sons, Sean (Jennifer) Leslie Davis and Scott (Kasey) Michael Davis; his siblings, Debbie, Sue, Terry, Lora, Tina and preceded by brother Dwayne; his grandchildren, Owen, Mason, Aiden, Avery, and Emylia. John is a son, uncle, great uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend of many.

John was born in Rome, NY and grew up in Marshall, MO. He was known for his mechanically minded abilities and worked for Walmart Corporation for over 25 years where he formed many friendships. Starting as a HVAC technician, he later became a Senior Mechanical Construction Manager.  John had a passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles and enjoyed drag racing, crappie fishing, camping and spending time at Truman Lake.  He was also an excellent cook and loved to BBQ.

Visitation at Fey Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
