Janet Viero, beloved daughter of the late John and Adel Loeffelman, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2024, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family. Janet's legacy is one of faith, love, and dedication to her family.
She is survived by her devoted family: daughter, Monica (Patrick) Holtgreven, and her son, Dennis Viero. Janet was a cherished grandma to Timothy, Tony, Tina, Matt, Stephanie, and Daniel, and a beloved great-grandma to 12.
Janet was the cornerstone of her family, known for her warm heart and unwavering support. She shared a special bond with each member of her family, providing love, guidance, and laughter throughout the years. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy, and she took great pride in watching them grow and thrive.
Janet's love extended beyond her immediate family to include a wide circle of relatives and friends, all of whom were touched by her kindness and generosity.
In addition to her love for her family, Janet found great delight in her favorite pastimes. She was known for her enthusiasm for bingo nights and thrilling gambling trips, where she enjoyed the excitement of the game and the camaraderie of friends.
Her loss leaves a void in the lives of those who loved her, but her spirit will continue to inspire and guide them. Janet Viero will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20th at Fey Funeral Home from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. with 11 a.m. Catholic Mass to follow at Assumption-Mattese Parish, 4725 Mattis Road, St. Louis, MO 63128. Private family burial following at Assumption-Mattese Parish Cemetery.
