Dean Elmer Schnieders

Dean Elmer Schnieders, age 57, passed away on June 11, 2022 in St. Louis, Missouri, after a long term illness. Dean never gave up hope and never stopped fighting. His family is eternally grateful for the memories they were able to share because of his strength and bravery.

Dean was a caring husband, father, “Papa”, and friend. He always shared a smile and wanted everyone to be happy and taken care of. He was a loyal fan of the St. Louis Blues Hockey team.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Schnieders, who remained by his side for 37 years. Dean was the loving father to Nathan Schnieders, Dean Schnieders, II (Alisha), Kevin Schnieders, and Kayla Schnieders. He was the greatest “Papa” to Dalilah, Dean III, and Dexter Schnieders. His grandchildren were the center of his universe and nothing made him happier than taking them on vacations and creating memories with them.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Schnieders and his father, Roger Martin.

Visitation at Fey Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15 from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m. Burial following at New St. Marcus Cemetery.
