Passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018. Beloved spouse of Carrie Geiler for 19 years (preceded by Dolores Geiler); dear son of the late Daniel and Bessie Geiler; father of Christine R. Geiler and the late Richard M. Geiler; stepfather of Marissa Bracy, Rico Bracy, and the late Darlene Hicks, Marlene (Chuck) Cambell, Robert Hicks and Lisa Spivey; brother of Joyce Corn, Dorothy Geiler, Daniel (Nancy) Geiler, and the late Ruby Scott and Joseph Geiler; grandfather of Gregory, Shawn, Haile, Shy and many others; great grandfather of Kaylyn, Clara, Kendal, Silas and Jayce; an uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Edward was a member of Moose Lodge 878, American Legion Post 162, MO National Gaurd, a Senior Master Sergeant of 131st Fighter Wing, and founding member of Foley's Country Club and Drinking Establishment. Memorial donations may be given to American Hospice Foundation.
Visitation at Fey Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 3 from 5-8 pm. Service on Wednesday, April 4 at 10:30 am then to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery for burial.

Arthur W. Hartmann “Art” On Friday, March 16, 2018 at age 102 went to be with his wife of 66 years the late Helen (nee Mutzu); son of the late Frank and Josephine Hartmann (nee Lobig); brother of the late Emma DeGroot, Frieda Maloney, Frank and Oscar Hartmann; father of Charles Hartmann (the late Jackie, nee Jackson) and Jack and Ellen Hartmann (and the late Carol, nee Renner); grandfather of Michael and Karen Hartmann, Michelle and Dan Chambliss, David, Brian and Barbara, Timothy and Amy Hartmann; great grandfather of Danny, Tim, Corey, Sarah, Brad, Carly, Joey, Maeleah, George; dear uncle, great uncle, great great uncle, cousin, and friend. Arthur was the founder of Lemay Plumbing Company in 1952 and involved in many civic activities such as a member of Scouting for 60+ years, a Scout Master, Merit Badge Councilor, an Eagle Scout, Order of the Arrow and Silver Beaver Recipient, an umpire, referee, coach, PTA, Hancock School Board, District Commissioner, a recipient of Edgar P. Crecelius Award, an avid Cardinals baseball fan and loved swimming, fishing and all sports. In sports, he was involved in Lemay Baseball Association as an umpire and Lemay Optimist League as a referee and sponsored teams in both sports. As a member of Meals on Wheels, he delivered over 1000 meals over many years. He was a devoted care giver to his wife Helen. He was also a member of the Lemay Senior Center and 60 + Club. He especially loved a strawberry banana concrete from Ted Drews. He was loved and will be missed by all. Contributions may be given to Gethsemane Lutheran Church or Lions Eye Foundation of District 26-M2.
