Verna Crawford Wohlschlaeger

Verna Crawford Wohlschlaeger (nee Klingemann) was born on February 23, 1924 and passed on November 11, 2025. Dear wife of the late Norman Crawford and the late Harry Wohlschlaeger; beloved mother of Rita (Byron) Hawkes, Joan (Donald) Cannon, Ronald (Melody) Crawford, and the late Janet Crawford; sister of Helen (Jim) Brewer, and the last surviving of thirteen siblings; abundantly blessed grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend of many.  Verna was a resident of Friendship Village for 20 years. Visitation at Fey Funeral Home on Sunday, November 16 from 4-7 p.m., and Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. Burial following at Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in Verna’s honor.
