Thomas (Tommy) R. Brown was born on January 20, 1996, and passed on November 10, 2025. He was the beloved son of Robert (Holly) Brown and Dawn (Jerry) Hunt; cherished grandson of Rose Mauer, and Bill and Donna Pfeiffer; and loving brother of Melissa (Mark) Hollis, Alexis (Jason) Schneider, Lanie (Marcus) Stephenson, and Ivy Brown. He was a proud uncle to Zane, Brooklyn, Rylan, Matthew, Sloane, Quinn, and Cavan, and a nephew and friend to many.
Tommy was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard Mauer and Bob and Lolly Brown; his nephew, Nolan Grbcich; and his cousin, Cody Garcia Mauer.
Tommy made his mark early in life serving as the team captain of the Hazelwood West Robotics team. He was a proud graduate of Missouri University of Science and Technology and as a dedicated member of the Theta Xi fraternity. He carried his passion for innovation and hard work into his professional life, serving as the plant manager for Heidelberg Materials in Ohio.
Tommy loved to hunt and fish, and being outdoors. He took pride in woodworking, taking care of his land and livestock. His love for animals—especially his five dogs, who already miss him dearly—was a defining part of who he was.
He was a gifted storyteller who enjoyed a good laugh, and who enjoyed being around family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him. Memorial gathering at Fey Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. with a service at 6:30 p.m.
