Susan (Barrett) Iler

Susan Iler (nee Barrett) 71, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025 in St. Louis, MO. Susan was born on September 22, 1953 to the late Donald and Virginia (nee Reeds). She was the loving spouse to the late Donald Iler for 48 years. She worked at Sinclair & Rush for 17 years, retired in 2024 and lived with her nephew Brian Cowin and his wife Mindy and family until she passed.

Sue was loved by so many. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Sue enjoyed being outside enjoying the weather, drinking a Dr. Pepper and spending time with her family. She had a heart of gold and would do or give anything for her loved ones.

Sue is survived by her brother, Donald Barrett Jr., her sister, Deborah Kuehn (nee Barrett), and her brother, Mike (Michelle) Barrett. Sue is also survived by her daughter, Kelly Flores (nee Bunch), her grandchildren, Jessica and Michael Flores, as well as her great grandchildren, Julian, Amelia, and Case. Sue was preceded in death by her sisters, Judith Parker, Donna (Bob) Ulianich, and her niece, Angie Dobyns (nee Ulianich).

A memorial gathering to honor Sue will be held at Fey Funeral Home on May 9th from 12 - 4 p.m. with a service at 1 p.m.  Donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
