Sister Rose Philippine Hoormann CSJ

Sister Rose Philippine Hoormann CSJ passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 in McGovern Commons at Nazareth Living Center. She was 94 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 77 years. Sister Rose Philippine was born in Florissant, MO to Anthony and Elizabeth (Derhake) Hoormann. She was a dear sister, mentor, friend and Community member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. She ministered as a Dietitian and Nursing Assistant. S. Rose Philippine donated her body to St. Louis University. Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Nazareth Living Center. Service will be live streamed @ video.ibm.com/channel/csjsl-general.
