Sister Paula Patrice Michaud, CSJ

Sister Paula Patrice Michaud,CSJ passed away on March 16, 2023 at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis, Missouri. She was 97 years of age. She was born on November 26, 1925, in Loveland, Colorado, to parents Jay Ludger and Aurelie Mary (Orleans) Michaud. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1943 and was received into the novitiate in 1944. She received a bachelor’s degree in French/education from Fontbonne College in 1956 and a master’s degree in elementary education administration from the University of Colorado in 1972. She was a Sister of St Joseph of Carondelet for 75 years.  She served in St Louis, MO, Denver, CO, Hawaii, and Tucson, AZ.  She was an educator, both principal and teacher, for the majority of her service.   She was beloved by all and will be missed.  Since 2022, Sister Paula resided at Nazareth Living Center, where she carried out her ministry of prayer and presence. The Funeral Mass will be held in Holy Family Chapel at the Carondelet Motherhouse on April 19 at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a luncheon. Burial following at Resurrection Cemetery.
