Sister Patricia Marie Hix CSJ

Sister Patricia Marie Hix (Dorothy Marie) CSJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in McGovern Commons at Nazareth Living Center. She was 100 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 83 years. Sister Patricia was born in Kansas City, MO to Leslie and Catherine (Corrigan) Hix. She was a dear sister, mentor, friend and Community member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. She ministered as a Primary and Secondary Teacher, Dean at Avila College; Teacher at St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Nazareth Living Center. Visitation from 9-10 a.m. and burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
