Sister Maureen Francis Kottenstette CSJ

Sister Maureen Francis Kottenstette CSJ (Joan Ann) passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025 at Carondelet Manor at Nazareth Living Center. She was 87 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 69 years. Sister Maureen was born in Denver, CO to Francis Joseph and Maurine Elizabeth (Kerrigan) Kottenstette. She was a dear sister, aunt, friend and Community member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.  She taught in Elementary Education; Pastoral Associate; Resource Development Advocacy, Community Housing Specialist; Case Manager; and worked for A Better World movement programs national/internationally. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25 at 10 a.m. at Nazareth Living Center. Visitation from 9-10 a.m. and burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.   Service will be lived streamed @ video.ibm.com/channel/csjsl-general.
