Sister Mary Charity Dalton CSJ

Sister Mary Charity Dalton CSJ passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Nazareth Living Center. She was 97 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 75 years. Sister Mary Charity was born in St. Louis, MO to Paul Anthony and Mary Agnes (Dalton) Schmuck. She was a dear sister, aunt, friend and Community member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. She ministered in Primary, Secondary, and College (23 years at Fontbonne University where she served as Chair of Theatre Department); Associate Producer/Programmer at Sacred Heart Radio; Volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House, at the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of St. Louis, and at the Immigrant & Refugee Woman's Program. S. Mary Charity donated her body to St. Louis University. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5 at Nazareth Living Center Chapel.
