Sister Marie Rene Pretti CSJ

Sister Marie Rene Pretti CSJ passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 in McGovern Commons at Nazareth Living Center in St. Louis, MO. She was 101 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph of Carondelet for 83 years. Sister Marie Rene was born in Glenwood Springs, CO to John J. And Reketta C. (Moscon) Pretti. She was a dear sister, aunt, friend and Community member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Her ministry was in Elementary and Secondary Education and Religious Education. 

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Nazareth Living Center Chapel. Visitation from 9-10 a.m. and burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  Service will be live streamed @ video.ibm.com/channel/csjsl-general.
