Sister Marie Damien Adams, CSJ

Sister Marie Damien Adams, CSJ passed away on May 31, 2022 at McGovern Commons on the Nazareth Living Center Campus.  She was 89 years of age and a Sister of St. Joseph for 71 years.  She was born on September 27, 1932 in Peoria, Illinois to John Luke and Marie (Schmitt) Adams.  She's a dear sister, aunt, friend and Community member.  She ministered as elementary education teacher, teacher of speech pathology/audiology and Academic Dean at Fontbonne College.  Sister Marie served in leadership on the Province and Congregational level of the Community.  Funeral Liturgy will be held at Nazareth Living Center Chapel on June 6.  Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. and followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m.  Lived streamed at video.ibm.com/channel/csjsl-general.  Memorials to Sisters of St. Joseph Carondelet, 6400 Minnesota Ave, St. Louis, MO 63111 or online gift to CSJSL.org.
