Sister Jean Miller, CSJ

Sister Jean Miller, CSJ (Sr. Marie Kateri) passed away on January 14, 2023 at McGovern Commons – Nazareth Living Center.  She was 84 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 69 years.  Born on April 27, 1938 in Keshena, Wisconsin to James and Emma (Reed) Miller, and a member of the Menominee Tribe.  She is a sister, aunt, great aunt, friend and Community member.  She ministered as a Licensed Practical Nurse, in child care, and SJI Deaf Ministry.  Funeral Liturgy will be held at Nazareth Living Center on January 16 at 10 a.m. Live streamed at video.ibm.com/channel/csjsl-general.  Memorials to Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, 6400 Minnesota Ave, St. Louis, MO 63111 or online gifts to CSJSL.org.
