Sister Jane Hassett, CSJ

Sister Jane Hassett CSJ passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at McGovern Commons at Nazareth Living Center. She was 96 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 72 years. Sister Jane was born in St. Louis, MO to Henry Anthony and Jeanette (Kehoe) Hassett.  She was a dear sister, aunt, friend and Community member of Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Her ministries included teacher in College, Secondary, Elementary Education; Dissertation Research; Fontbonne University President; Sister’s Energy Conversation Director; Writer of Fontbonne History and Archivist. S. Jane donated her body to St. Louis University. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 15 at 10:30 a.m. at Nazareth Living Center.
