Sister Ellen Roach CSJ

Sister Ellen Roach CSJ (Agnes Rita) passed away on June 17, 2026 at McGovern Commons at Nazareth Living Center. She was 98 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 76 years. Sister Ellen was born in Chicago, IL to Patrick Joseph and Ellen (Lyons) Roach. She was a dear sister, aunt, friend and Community member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Her ministries included Elementary/Intermediate Education, Campus Ministry, Youth Ministry Coordinator, Pastoral Assistant, and ESL Tutoring.  Visitation at Nazareth Living Center on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.  Service will be live streamed @ video.ibm.com/channel/csjsl-general.
