Sister Catherine "Kate" Filla CSJ

Catherine "Kate" Filla CSJ passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at McGovern Commons at Nazareth Living Center. She was 80 years old and a Sister of St. Joseph for 62 years. Sister Kate was born in University City, MO to Francis Thomas and Rose Anne (Zeman) Filla. She was a dear sister, aunt, friend and Community member of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. She ministered as Secondary Teacher of French, English, Religion in Denver, Chicago, and Ste. Genevieve, MO; Prep North Seminary; Reflexologists; CSJ Family Care and Tour Guide at Carondelet. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:30 a.m.  Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Carondelet Chapel, 6400 Minnesota, Ave., St. Louis MO.  Live streamed @ video.ibm.com/channel/csjsl-general.
