Sister Audrey Olson, CSJ. Born to George L. and Leona T.(Williams) Olson on July 1, 1928 in Peoria IL.She passed peacefully on Saturday, June 15 at Nazareth Living Center in St Louis, MO.She lived a life of dedication in her teaching career in MO, CO, AL and IN, and her love of Peace and Justice in the Belleville IL and LaCrosse WI dioceses. She was very active in the organizing of the Lay Associates of the Congregation of the Sisters of St Joseph.Sr Audrey attended St. Cecilia Grade School and The Academy of Our Lady. She obtained her doctorate in History at the University of Kansas. She is survived by her sister, Anne(Olson) Yarwood (Gary) of Fountain Hills AZ. Nephews, Terence (Mary-Jane)Hogan, Timothy (Tracy) Hogan and Thomas Hogan. Six other children of Gary Yarwood and twenty-one combined grandchildren, and one great granddaughter of all the families. Sr Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kenneth Olson. According to her wishes, she was interred with a green burial in Resurrection Cemetery in St Louis. A Memorial Mass of Celebration will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Nazareth Living Center Chapel at 1:00 PM
