Robert D. Pollard

Robert D. Pollard was from Imperial, Missouri and passed away on August 21, 2020 at the age of 89. He was the son of the late Urbie and Hattie Pollard of Metropolis, Illinois and preceded in death by two brothers Bill Pollard and Urbie Pollard Jr. of Metropolis, Illinois. He is survived by his wife Hazel (labee) Pollard, two daughters Susan Visconti of Town and Country and Janelle Baisch of Imperial and one son Robert D. Pollard Jr. of Imperial, five grandchildren Owen Kreuter, Jody (Ali) Kreuter, Carl Chaney, Laura (McDermott) Chaney, Patrick Chaney and five great-grandchildren Etana McDermott, Alex Ali, Logan Chaney, Nick Chaney, Madison Chaney, Dawn (Zettler) Nelson, Mike Nelson and one great-great-grandchild Michael Nelson Jr. Robert was an owner and operated of dump trucks & enjoyed his job along with the people he would meet along the way. Visitation at Fey Funeral Home, 4100 Lemay Ferry Road, on Thursday, September 3 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Burial following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
