With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ray Isenmann; devoted husband, beloved father, and Papa. He passed peacefully on August 3, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Ray, the eldest of four children, was born on November 22, 1951 to Ramon and Fay Isenmann in St. Louis, Missouri. Ray's love of the outdoors began early, spending his childhood summers with family at the farm. This love continued throughout his life with his favorite hobbies: fishing and boating with his family and friends. Ray met the love of his life, Sandy, in the early '70s. They married in 1977 and had three beautiful children. Their life together was full of adventure; fun trips, good music, good food, lots of love, and a whole lot of hard work. Ray inherited his work ethic from his father and his caring, kind heart from his beloved mother. Ray was a rock-solid provider for his family, doing whatever it took to make sure they were taken care of. Hearts are broken, and there is a spot on the couch that will never be the same, but Ray's legacy will live on in the hearts of his children and grandchildren; a shining example of love, dedication, and the profound impact one person can have on the lives of many. A memorial service in honor of Ray will be held on Wednesday, August 9, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Fey Funeral Home in St. Louis, Missouri. The memorial address will begin at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to join together to celebrate Ray's life, share stories, and remember the remarkable man who touched our lives in so many ways.
