Phillip L. Soomro was born on August 20, 1984 and passed on February 8, 2024, at age 39. Loving husband of Lisa Soomro for 18 years. Preceded in death by mother, Evelyn Joyce Soomro and guardian, Thelma King; dear father of Gabriella Evelyn Soomro and Sean Phillip (Natalie) Soomro; brother of Brian Soomro, John King, David Soomro and Tony Soomro; son-in-law of Kevin and GeorgeAnn Stumborg; nephew of Linda (the late Red) Nelson; cousin of Kevin Holloran; friend of many. Phillip was an Army Veteran of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) 2005-2006 and a National Certified K9 Handler AMPWDA. Visitation at Fey Funeral Home on Thursday, February 15 from 2-8 p.m., time of remembrance at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service at The Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, 4431 Lindell Blvd., on Friday at 9 a.m. Burial following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to The Backstoppers Inc., Wounded Warrior Project or American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
