Marinda Annis Ferrell

MARINDA ANNIS FERRELL SUNRISE JANUARY 4, 1949 - SUNSET JUNE 30, 2021 in St Louis, MO. Marinda lived a fulfilling life as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her family to the “moon and back”. She enjoyed cooking for her loved ones and always lending a helping hand. In keeping with her nature funeral services will be private and for family and close friends only. Marinda leaves behind her loving husband Charles Ferrell whereas this union began on June 24, 1967 and quickly they began a family of 5 children, Melissa Ferrell-Carrasco, Ronald D Ferrell, Donald C Ferrell, Vonzetta Ferrell and Dorothy Ferrell, she also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and her BFF Ruby Faye. Preceding Marinda in death is her parents West Nash Sr. and mother Dorothy Campbell- Upchurch, brother West Nash Jr., sister Sylvia Nash, Helen Nash and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins. Her contributions to many began as an educator in the state of MO, IL, CA and AZ, she was an Inspirational speaker, Lifetime teacher and certified teacher in Social Science, she held 2 Masters 1 in Social Science from Webster University, St Louis MO and the other in Human Resources Development as well as a BS in administration from SIU, Carbondale.Marinda professed her religion at the age of 7 yeas old and was baptized by the age of 9 years old in the Kaskaskia River and gave her life to Jesus. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as those she reached but never met.
