Joan Elizabeth (Naber) Bach, a beloved mother, grandmother, devoted friend and free spirit, passed peacefully in her home with her husband and children by her side on August 18, 2025 at the age of 69.
Joan lived her life with warmth, laughter, and a spirit of her own. She will be remembered most for the love she poured into her family, especially her three grandchildren, McKenna, Landon & Camden who brought her endless joy. They made her laugh until it hurt, cry with pride, and gave her reason to keep fighting each day. Being their “Zsa Zsa” was the role she cherished most in life.
Her colorful soul, open heart, and unwavering love leave behind a legacy that will live on in the memories of her family and friends.
Joan is survived by her husband, Mark Bach; her children, Kyle Bach (Rebecca), Presley Menendez (Chris); her grandchildren, McKenna, Landon and Camden; her siblings, David (Cathy) Naber, John (Diana) Naber, Susan (Michael) Bartola, and her late brother Thomas Naber; and many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
We will carry forward her spirit of love and light.
Services to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in South St. Louis. Visitation will be held in the church from 9 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.
