Harry L. Meese Jr.

Harry L. Meese Jr. was born on November 2, 1953 and passed peacefully on January 29, 2026.  Harry enjoyed many pastimes throughout his life, including bowling, fishing, and hunting. He especially cherished time spent with his family. Harry was a devoted fan of The Three Stooges, a passion that brought him much joy and laughter.  

Loving husband of Cheryl A. (Edington) Meese Jr. for almost 45 years; cherished father of Clinton (Trisha), Joshua (Emily), Steven (Melissa), and the late Kevin; and he was a grandfather of Dylan, Olivia, Ashley, Amber, Cynthia, Tyler, Kaleb, and Matthew; and great grandfather of Madison, Eliana, Pearl, Shelby, Rose, Jaxstyn, Jamersyn, Kaylee, Jaxson, Colton, Grayson, Aurora, Ethan, and Avery; son the of the late Harry and the late Betty Meese Sr.; brother of Verna, Mike, Shelley, and the late Ruby; brother in law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. 

A Celebration of Life for Harry will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 11 a.m. at the Festus Crystal City Conservation Club. Lunch will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring a dessert to share.
