Gerald W. Geitz

Gerald “Jerry” W. Geitz, 84, passed away on January 12, 2026. Jerry was the loving husband of the late Marilyn Geitz (née Seebeck); dear father of Lisa May and Denise (Alex) Baur; proud grandfather of Dr. Karissa (Ruijie) Liu, Branden May, Autumn May, Aubrie Baur, and Savannah Baur; brother of Nancy (the late Ron) Stange and the late Vernell Geitz; brother-in-law of Rick (Ann) Seebeck, Bob (Barbara) Seebeck, and the late Fred Seebeck; and an uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many.  Jerry enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors, taking walks, and attending outdoor concerts. He especially cherished connecting with people and was devoted to his church community.  Visitation at St. Johns EUCC of Mehlville on Tuesday, January 20 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. Burial following at New St. Johns Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given to St. Johns EUCC General Fund.
