Faith Mary Ellebrecht (nee Dietrich) 104 yrs., of House Springs, MO. Born in St. Louis, MO on June 5, 1921. Died peacefully in the arms of her Lord And Savior, Jesus Christ, May, 8,2026. Faith is remembered for her strong willed German determination and work ethic. Not only was she a talented seamstress and quilter, she also loved flowers, gardening and expressing her artistic talent in a wide variety of crafting designs. In her later years, as vision declined, she worked daily on LARGE PRINT word search puzzles and took up water painting from Bob Ross and a Thomas Kinkade series when encourage by the “Church Ladies” as they came to visit. Family members have fond memories with GG’s directions for stirring the apple butter kettle over an open fire with the right technique for a perfect batch. She was the drill sergeant and general in command from peeling, to adding the sugar at the most opportune moment for award winning flavor. Oh, and by the way, it’s an old family secret recipe! Shhh! Faith is survived by her daughter-in-law Sue Ellebrecht, son, Harvey Ellebrecht, daughter-in-law Maury (nee Kreutz), and daughter, Chrystel Ellebrecht. Holding a baby or playing card games with the younger ones was the highlight of her day. She was a beloved Aunt, cousin, and friend to many, especially to Linda Bell who called her “Mom”.
