Emily Diane Adkins, of Imperial MO, passed away suddenly on December 22, 2023 at the age of 37. She was the Mother of Alexis Hayes; daughter of Nancy Adkins (nee Beiter) and the late Michael Adkins; sister to Geoffrey Adkins, Bradley (Cheryl) Adkins and Aunt to Jordan Adkins.
Emily was preceded in death by her father Michael G. Adkins; Grandfather Robert L. Adkins; Grandmother Dorothy H. Adkins (nee Gnuse); Grandfather Marvin W. Beiter; Grandmother Hazel D. Beiter (nee Gill); Uncles Gordon L. Adkins, William S. Aye; Aunt Donna E. Jones (nee Adkins); Cousins Melissa A. Summit (nee Beiter) and Amanda M. Beiter.
Emily was an avid Cardinals Baseball fan, loved gardening, swimming, bbqs, and spending time with family. She loved playing all kinds of games from video to board games such as Scrabble, Boggle, and Monopoly. She also liked to play cards, and truly enjoyed playing Uno with the kids, Alexis and Jordan. She had a great sense of humor and delighted in watching the Hummingbirds fight over the birdfeeder. She especially liked spending time with her Dad, working on daily crossword puzzles, as well as planting flowers with her Mom and Daughter or just sitting around talking about sports, tv shows, movies or world events.
She was also a loving niece, cousin, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all. We are heartbroken.
