Elizabeth Lou "Betty" Schlesing

Elizabeth Lou "Betty" Schlesing passed on January 19, 2025 at age 88. Preceded in death by her husband, Orville; mother of Susan (Perry) Mueller, Debra (Don) Wood, Mark Schlesing and the late Richard Schlesing Sr.; grandmother of Stephanie (Mike), Greg (Crystal), Tim (Lindsey), Scott, Samantha (John) and the late Richard Jr. (Ashley); great grandmother of Ella, Drew, Bennett, Hudson, Paisley, Isabella, Maggie, Blake, Rowan, Jane, Charlotte, Xylynn and Gunner; Dog mom to Barney; sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many. She may have been small in stature, but she made up for that with her big heart. Always giving and willing to help.  She never met a stranger and was known around town by many who met her.  She will be truly missed. May her light shine down on us all.  Memorial gathering at Fey Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. with a service at 11:30 a.m.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Needy Paws Rescue.
