Don Stock Sr. Obituary

Don D. Stock Sr. was born on August 5, 1929 and passed on November 8, 2024.  Don served in the Korean War under the 187th Airborne Division. He was a dedicated employee of August A. Busch Jr. and head of farm operations at Grant’s Farm for over 50 years. Don also enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and was known for his powerful presence, strength and ability to fix anything.  Loving father of Don D. (Theresa) Stock Jr. and Alice V. (Jimmy) Burnley; stepfather of Mark D. (Bob) Kempf and Sherri (Jerry) Kempf; grandfather of Don D. Stock III, Lillian (James) Stock Garaja; stepgrandfather of Aaron (Lavonda) Doty and Eric (Leslie) Doty;  great grandfather of Don D. Stock IV, Makinlee Stock and Wyatt Garaja; uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many.  He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Blanche Stock; his beloved wife, Vernell Stock; and siblings, Dick, Bill, Harold, Neil, Regina, Juanita, Wyllis and Laverne.  Visitation at Fey Funeral Home on Thursday, November 14 from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. Burial following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be given to Wounded Warrior Project.
