David E. McDowell

David E. McDowell was born on April 16, 1968 and passed on July 18, 2024. David was a very proud US Navy Veteran and spoke often of the 30 countries he had toured. Preceded in death by parents, Orville and Lee McDowell; and siblings, Rachel Day, Darryl (Patty Siar) McDowell and Sandy Sisk. Survived by daughter Megan (Joey) Garth; siblings, Steve Adams, Tony Adams, Bobby Winder, Jeff Winder, Douglas “Red” Winder, Tommy Winder, Kenny (Patty) McDowell, Pam (the late Galen) McDowell and Susan Woods; granddaughter, Harper Garth; former wife, Michelle (Tony) Elrod; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation at Fey Funeral home on Tuesday, July 23 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 12:30 p.m.  Burial following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Wounded Warrior Project.
