Christy Alice Dunegan Hood

Christy Alice Dunegan Hood (aka The Pink Lady) a woman with a heart of gold and infectious smile, took her final walk into Jesus’ arms on July 25, 2021. Dear daughter of the late Ronald E. Dunegan and Judith Ann (Brown) Dunegan, spunky, fun loving mother of Lainie (Stephen) Hood-Rusbarsky, Livia (Douglas Browning) Hood and Kirk Jake (Andrea) Hood, caring sister of Ruth (Patrick) Burton-Roll, loving grammy of Lola, Laila, Luka, Hunter, Hayden, Hawkins, Kirk, Scarlett and Savannah, step grandmother of Brauc and Bryson, aunt of Alice (Chris) Rickert, great aunt of Emelyn and Dominik, cousin and cherished friend to many. Christy was a Massage Therapist whose mission was to heal through touch. She was an avid worshipper of Christ, had a Bible verse readily on hand for any situation and would stop mid-conversation to pray for someone. She was a ray of light in the lives of everyone who knew her and we are certain she is "Walking On Sunshine" for eternity now.  Memorial gathering on Monday, August 9, from 4-8 p.m. at the Shrewsbury City Center.
