Ann Strobl Obituary

Ann Marie Strobl entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 18, 2024. Ann was born May 22, 1948, to the late Beatrice and Robert Strobl of St. Louis, Missouri. She was the oldest of four: Steve (Georgeann), Jim (Jan) of Florida, and Joe (Carolyn) of Farmington.

Ann (Annie) was the first “favorite” aunt to her 11 nieces and nephews: Jenny (Ron) Bailie, Becky (the late Paul) Just, Steve (Alicia), Katie, Stacey (Kevin) Smith, Amy (Mike) Kerckhoff, Kristy, Jeff (Kate), Kari (Ellis) Boswell, Elizabeth (Brian) Derickson, and Michelle. Annie was also a “great” aunt to Charlie and Robby Bailie; Taylor, Emily, and Chase Just; Stephen III and Iris Strobl; Jessica Draper; Cody and Cyle Lingo; Luca and Gabriella Smith; MJ, Kenzie, Dylan, and Ali Jo Kerckhoff; Benji, Brody, Noah, and Nash Strobl; Jackson and Madison Boswell; Riley, Lucas, and Lydia Derickson; and Audrey Pavely.

Ann had several interests, including everything Disney, traveling in her younger years, and sewing; but her true passion was cooking. She was an amazing cook, baker, and cake decorator, and this passion for cooking and watching cooking shows was unmatched.  She made countless cakes while working as part of a catering team, in addition to the many, many cakes made for family and friends for birthdays and holidays. Ann was also an accomplished seamstress and master of arts and crafts. From needle point to counted cross stitch, to sewing clothes or hair accessories to yarn and plastic canvas, she could do it all.

Ann will be dearly missed by all who loved her. We know her parents were waiting to welcome her home.
