Alois Foerster was born on November 15, 1928 and died on August 7, 2022. He is survived by his son Bernd (Susan), and Daughter Sonja (John Jabouri), 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Alois was born in Russia, immigrated to Germany and then to St Louis, MO in 1955. He worked as a master cabinet maker, and after retirement, continued his woodwork, helping build toys for children in Jacksonville, FL, where he resided with his son since 2014 after the passing of his wife, Julianna. Visitation at Fey Funeral Home on Friday, August 19 from 3-8 p.m. then at St. Matthias the Apostle Catholic Church on Saturday for visitation from 9 a.m. until time of Mass at 10 a.m. Interment at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
